The QD Combo Sling Mount (Quick Detach) combines the Thorntail X 1913 QD Sling Mount and the QD End Plate enabling attachment of two-point slings using QD Sling Swivels to most standard ARs and M4s.

Note: The Thorntail X 1913 QD Sling Mount is designed for use on MIL-STD-1913/STANAG 4694/Picatinny handguards and rails. The QD End Plate was designed to fit MIL-SPEC and commercial buffer tubes.
The Thorntail X 1913 QD Sling Mount (Quick Detach) gives the end user options on where to mount a sling point providing a 45-degree offset for a lower profile, ambidextrous, snag resistant, anti-rotational, sling attachment point for QD Sling Swivels. Built for strength, Thorntail X mounts are machined from 7075-T6 Aluminum and MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodized resulting in a mount that exhibits nearly twice the tensile strength of competing light mounts using industry standard 6061-T6 Aluminum.
The QD End Plate (Quick Detach) provides a low-profile rear attachment mounting solution for QD Sling Swivels by replacing the stock AR15/M4 buffer tube end plate (carbine stock receiver end plate) with an end plate containing a QD Swivel Socket. The end plate attachment point allows a wide range of motion, enabling true ambidextrous weapon manipulation for both left and right handed shooters for added mobility and weapon dexterity especially when operating in confined spaces.
